APS Administrator software package

The APS Administrator software package is designed for administration of all APS systems. The Client / Server architecture offers possibilities of multi-user access and usage of extending modules. The server composes of a communication service, an SQL database and a HTTP server (which is necessary only when using web extensions). The client programs are implemented both as windows and web applications.

The windows applications (administration program and some of the extending modules) communicate with the server via the TCP/IP protocol. The web applications require only a web browser at the client side (lean client), thereby they can easily become a part of the company intranet.

The program solution enables a simple implementation of combined APS 400, APS mini Plus and APS mini systems and their central management. Communication with the HW equipment is realized using serial (COM, USB) or network (TCP/IP) communication lines.

The operating system Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, or Windows Vista® (both 32 and 64bit versions supported) with the .NET Framework 2.0 environment is required for the program to run. For data storage the program uses MS® SQL Server 2005, MS® SQL Server 2008, or MS® SQL Server 2008 R2 (including Express versions). The user interface is designed with a maximal accent to the design, comfort and intuitive control.

The software package installation is composed of the administration program APS Administrator and the communication server APS nServer.NET. The APS Administrator installer also contains an extending module for Time & Attendance evaluation APS T&A. In case the communication server does not find required licenses for the T&A module operation, the programs runs in a demo mode.

APS Administrator

The administration program APS Administrator offers resources for a transparent management of access rights of the users using access groups, time schedules and holidays. The access to the program can be set at a proper level for individual users according to demands. The program also contains events archive viewer, microreader connector, and other functions.

APS nServer.NET

The APS nServer.NET program provides communication among the access control system, SQL server and the client programs. It contains resources for installing the application as a system service.

APS iPanel

The software product APS iPanel is a standard part of a the APS Administrator program package. The program is designed for easing the system control wherever an activation of a user event or displaying of an attention note related to an operation event is needed. The program can also associate an IP camera picture taking with an event in the system or display chosen states of the system grafically.

The program is compatible with APS 400 system.

APS Control Panel

The software product APS Control Panel is designed for easing system operation in cases, where it is necessary to activate remote door open function from a computer or monitor statuses of system reader modules.

The program is compatible with APS mini and APS mini Plus systems.
