APS Home

The APS Home program is a comfort tool for APS mini and APS mini Plus system management, designed mainly for administration of apartment buildings, small companies, etc.

The program is designed as a local single-user solution, communication with the HW equipment is realized using serial (COM, USB) or network (TCP/IP) communication lines. It contains resources for setting up all functional parameters of the connected modules, description of read events (which are displayed online), and many more tools easing the system installation and configuration.

Number of IDs in the system is not limited by the program, the limitations are given by the technical parameters of the connected devices. The model of access rights definitions in a tree structure (see this interactive example) enables a very fast and easy administration, independant on hardware arrangement of communication lines and system modules.

The program enables online saving pictures from connected IP cameras based on the rules assigned to the specific operating event.

The operating system Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, or Windows Vista® (both 32 and 64bit versions supported) with the .NET Framework 2.0 environment is required for the program to run. The HW requirements on the computer are minimal, any computer able to run the operating system will suit the needs. For data storage the program uses either the MS® SQL Server Compact 3.5 (simple installation), or more secure and robust MS® SQL Server 2005, MS® SQL Server 2008, or MS® SQL Server 2008 R2 (including Express versions).

For online applications it is appropriate to use the APS Administrator program package, which contains a communication server running as a system service and the data are stored in an SQL database.
