Extensions
The APS Administrator program package offers a possibility to use software extensions, which ease the system control. Individual extensions are designed for various types of applications, where it is appropriate to use them. All extensions are either web or windows application.
The web applications require the Microsoft Internet Information Services installed at a computer serving as a web server. The installation is a part of the Windows operating system (except for Home editions). From the client side any web browser suits the needs.
The program extensions (winform applications) have to be installed on every client's computer, where they are intended to be used. The client programs log on to the server via the TCP/IP protocol.
For the extension operation the relevant license is always required. The Time & Attendance extensions furthermore also require relevant T&A licenses for the system.
