Licenses
The license policy for the system APS 400 and the systems APS mini / APS mini plus differs. The licenses generally enable programs and program extensions usage or extend the functionality of a system.
APS 400
The license ACS sets the memory proportions for the IDs and events in the MCA 168 system controller. It is necessary to order the TA license for the same amount of IDs if you intend to evaluate the Time & Attendance. The network modules at the APS 400 BUS can contain the MLC license, which sets, if the module is able to read also the non-factory ID media of the EM Marin technology.

APS mini and APS mini Plus
In the APS mini and APS mini Plus system the IDs count is not limited by any license, but by the modules' capacity (748 Ids The licenses in these systems are bound to the specific reader module. The APS mini and APS mini Plus reader modules differ rightly in the presence of the MLE license. Its presence in the APS mini Plus system enables reading operating events of the system. Every module intended to be used in the Time & Attendance applications must contain the MLA license. Alike the case of APS 400 system, the MLC license sets, if the module is able to read also the non-factory ID media of the EM Marin technology.

Licenses for software extensions
The licenses enabling usage of the software extensions are common to all of the APS systems. The license is valid for all systems managed by a single server. In the APS 400 the license can be stored in the system controller, in the APS mini and APS mini Plus systems it can be stored in one of the reader modules.
