Easy integration of ABLOY EL420 and ABLOY EL520 electromotive locks into APS access control systems

NAC 22 and XAC 22 external switchboards enable direct control of ABLOY EL420 or ABLOY EL520 electromotive locks in APS access control systems.

NAC 22 switchboard

NAC 22 external switchboard for ABLOY EL420 and ABLOY EL520 electromotive locks is designed for connection to the APS BUS of the APS 400 access control system, where it occupies one address space.

The module can be directly controlled by the system controller's program, which is created in the APS Config program environment. I/O ports relevant to the switchboard address have following functions:

• Input1: door status, On when door closed
• Input2: handle status, On when handle pressed
• Relay1: lock control, On = unlocked
• AuxOutput: not available
• Beep: Beep contact control, On = active signal

XAC 22 switchboard

The XAC 22 external switchboard for ABLOY EL420 and ABLOY EL520 electromotive locks is designed for standalone lock control. The lock is controlled by bringing relevat signal to the relevat input of the switchboard.

It is appropriate to use the module when using ABLOY EL420 or ABLOY EL520 electromotive locks in APS mini, APS mini Plus or even APS 400 systems or other access control systems. The module is intended for assembly in an installation box or for DIN rail mounting.
